Panel votes to ease North Adams business permits
The North Adams City Council Codification Review Committee voted to let general retail, offices, salons and most restaurants open downtown by right instead of through special permits. Chair Ashley Shade and member Lisa Hall Blackmer cast the recorded votes, with member Peter Breen marked absent.
