North Adams records 14 deed transfers in one month, most sale prices undisclosed

North Adams recorded 14 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only four listed a sale price, ranging from $32,000 to $149,900 with a median of $67,500. The period's top disclosed sale was 28 Myers Ave. at $149,900. Banks, credit unions, or mortgage-related entities such as Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. were named as buyer or seller in 11 of the 14 recorded deeds. Arnold Place and East Main Street each saw two transfers. With most prices undisclosed, the recorded data shows deed activity but offers limited insight into overall market pricing for the period.
